A 7 Step Program To Produce More Sales - Step Two

sales. All 4 ways perform good but the second one
increasing, your conversion rates gave the best results
with less cost and effort.

If your traffic does nothing then driving targeted visitors
to your site has little value. You'll need a lot of
visitors with a low conversion. If you don't want to spend
more money or work part harder to make a sale then focus on
increasing your conversion rate.

How do you increase your conversion rate?
You will find the answers in the rest of the steps. So
moving right along... let us get to step 2

Step 2: The Most Important Marketing Technique

I'd like to tell you this method remains one of those big
dark secrets that every successful marketer keeps to
himself. I am here to share that secret... but at last I
can't. Every successful "guru" shouts it from the top of
the mountain.

What do we choose to ignore even though we hear it over and
over... you need to do a split test. Continue to run your
business without doing them, you waste time, money and
energy trying to figure out you need to do. Like walking in
the dark without a light... you will keep bump into
obstacles. Do you want to keep bumping things or increase
your sales effortlessly?

The cost to run a split test borders on zilch. It takes two
things you can use over and over again. An tracking program
and a split test script. Now most shopping carts combine
these two elements in their features. How important do I
feel about split testing... we give subscribers to our
"Traffic to Sales" ezine a thank you split test script.

If you make changes based on the results of a split test
and saw your sales double or increase by even 1%...
Wouldn't you be excited?

The Easiest Way To Begin To Increase Conversion Rates Start
With Split Testing.

Simple Conversion Rate Formula...
X divided by Y multiply by 100 = %
Y represent the number of people who took action X
represents the total number of people

Let's put this formula to use...
Every morning at Joe's Java Coffee shop, they have 100
customers (X) purchase coffee. Of those 20 (Y) buys a
double mocha. Joe knows that he can increase his profits by
selling more double mochas with the same amount of
customers. So...20 divided by 100 = 0.20 multiply by 100 =
20%. The conversion rate for double mocha is 20%. He now
knows that he'll need to sell 20 more to double his
conversion rate.

In the above example with Joe, we determined the base
conversion rate using 100 people. Normally to get more
accurate number for your sample base, you use 1000 "unique
visitors" to obtain that number. Forget about page views
and hits. Unique visitor represents one potential customer.
No matter how many pages that person visited or products
they bought... it still represents the actions of one
person.

Pay-Per-Click campaign will drive those numbers to your
site fast. It's one the main reasons so many internet
marketers use pay-per-click. Something else happens while
you go for your base number...your setting up your control
element for the split test.

Starting Your Split Test

1. Two versions to test The original item used to get your
base conversion rate and a variation of that item.

2. For best results make sure the split test script evenly
sends traffic between the to two versions. A good split
test script will do this for you.

3. You need to know the action of each split to determine
what version got the action. The ad tracking program
should take care of this.

4. Most people end the test too soon and end up with
inaccurate information. The best results come from large
sample size. 50 actions gives you enough data to make
intelligent decision from the results.

5. Patience A split takes time depending on the amount of
traffic you receive and what type of action you want
visitors to take.

You are now ready to began split testing, but what will you
test? The next installment, Step 3 will cover that.

Introducing Children To Music… Strategies For Success

While we struggle to restore full menu fuctionality We thought you'd like to hear about a more uplifting topic: Introducing Children To Music - Strategies For Success I've heard a million parents lament the fact that they didn'’t get their children interested in music sooner. There are also hundreds of adults out there that wish they had learned how to play an instrument when they were younger. Studies actually support the idea that music stimulates certain brain connections and can actually help children grow smarter! Music also provides an invaluable outlet for safe expression of feelings and emotions, and can also serve as an important learning tool throughout your children's lives! Music helps educate in many ways, by developing children'’s memory skills and nourishing their spirit. Now, some children are a bit resistant to music at first, but you can easily find ways to encourage them to enjoy music in many different forms early in life. You need to simply adop

Visitor Volumes down - not sure why

Yes the puzzle continues. We know that there has been a significant Google update but the impact on our SERPs has generally not been too significant - the usual crop of ups and downs spiced up by the odd disappearance. But the last couple of days have been 25% down on the previous working day run rate. Remember - don't panic over a couple of day's figures! So we are going to have a long weekend - back next Wednesday (for our small faithful band of regular readers). This trip will be a test of some technology we are planning to take on a much longer excursion later in the year - so we may improve on that if we find Wifi hotspots in North Wales. If you are one of that faithful band it would be fascinating to hear from you. This daily exercise in one way communication gives focus to my morning review of yesterday's data but the complete absence of response is a bit weird. I have to say it is matched by the lack of response on the SEO board where I have zero credibility and
